RATES, HOURS AND POLICIES

Rates:

At Lowther Counseling Services, we offer professional and comprehensive services tailored to your individual needs. Our rates reflect the expertise and dedication we bring to each session:

• $175 for Diagnostic Evaluation (50 Min)

• $175 for Individual Psychotherapy (50 Min)

• $262 for Extended Individual Psychotherapy (80 Min)

• $350 for Extended Individual Psychotherapy (110 Min)

80 and 110 minute sessions for EMDR can be instrumental in achieving positive outcomes within a more condensed timeframe. Longer intensives can also be offered for clients depending on need.

Business Consulting and Packages:

Explore our business consulting services and packages designed to meet the unique needs of your company:

• 4, 6, and 8-hour consultation packages are available.

• Packages may include allocated hours for employer/employee consultations, presentations, and workshops.

Contact LCS to discuss the most suitable consultation package for your organization.

 

Hours and Availability:

At Lowther Counseling Services, we prioritize flexibility to accommodate our clients:

• We offer sessions Monday-Thursday between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

• Hours for business consultation may vary from these times.

• We provide both teletherapy and in-person sessions to FL residents

Please note that, we do not offer more than once-per-week appointments, and we are not available for on-call or crisis therapy. Our scheduling may not be suitable for those requiring a more intensive schedule.

Health Insurance:

If you wish to go through your health insurance and it is not listed below, you can explore out of network benefits that you might be entitled to. Please visit the respective health insurance company's website or contact customer service representatives. They can furnish you with detailed information regarding your specific benefits, enabling you to optimize your out-of-network mental health coverage. We will provide a monthly superbill (detailed paid invoice) for reimbursement. Alternatively, you may explore services like Mentaya, which streamlines the entire out-of-network process for you: Mentaya.

We recognize that some clients prefer to forego utilizing their health insurance, even when a clinician is in-network, and you can choose to do so by requesting and completing an opt-out consent form prior to beginning therapy. There are numerous advantages to opting out of health insurance, and we're here to guide you in maximizing your benefits.

We currently accept the following insurance plan:

• Aetna

We do not currently participate in employee assistance programs (EAP). It's essential to be aware that if your insurance denies or doesn't pay your claim within 6 months of the initial claim filing, you will be responsible for the full self-pay rate due to administrative time spent working with and following up with insurance companies.

Cancellation/No Show Policy:

To ensure the highest level of service, we maintain the following cancellation and no-show policy:

• A strict 48-business hour cancellation fee applies to all appointments.

• Cancellation within 48-business hours incurs a $95 late fee.

• The full session rate is charged for sessions scheduled for longer than 50 minutes.

• Failure to show or cancel incurs the full self-pay rate.

We respect your time and appreciate your adherence to these policies. Repeated cancellations, late cancellations, or no-shows may lead to a discussion of alternative scheduling options or discharge.

Good Faith Estimate:

You have the right to request a written estimate of the total expected cost of sessions. For inquiries or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 1-800-985-3059.

 

Payment:

Payment is due at the time of service, and we accept cash, checks, major credit cards, and health savings accounts.  Business packages must be paid prior to service.
