About Me

My name is Tiffany Lowther and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida (MH13737). Helping people has been a life's passion and I am grateful to be a part of a profession where the goal is to bring healing, connection and growth. I specialize in Substance Use, Women’s Issues, Anxiety, Stress Management, Trauma, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Pregnancy, and Postpartum Mood and Anxiety Disorders.  I am an ally to the LGBTQI+ community.  I work with adults and adolescents using evidenced-based modalities. I am EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) Certified and have advanced training in Perinatal Mental Health.

I graduated in 2009 with a Bachelor’s in Psychology and a Minor in Women's Studies from the University of Central Florida. I went on to earn a Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Rollins College in 2013. I became EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) in 2013 and EMDR Certified in 2019. Past work history involves working in all levels of care in the substance use field, outpatient settings and transitional housing for Veterans and the HIV positive population. I’ve enjoyed running groups, teaching and presenting on different areas and interests. I have advanced training in Perinatal Mental Health through Postpartum Support International.
